The film won a record number of Golden Globes last week, so it’s no surprise the soundtrack to Damien Chazelle’s hit musical has as much charm and glamorous old-school pizzazz as the movie.

Winning a Globe for best original song, City Of Stars appears in three styles here.

The remainder of the record flits between jaunty and jazz, as well as the pop power of John Legend on the funky Start A Fire. Impressive and endearing.
