THE Sunday Post has teamed up with Jersey experts, Glenton Holidays, to give you the chance to win a four-night holiday for two on a half-board basis in the island’s enchanting capital of St Helier.

Jersey is a unique part of the British Isles, offering a distinctive continental flavour and an unspoiled landscape. You can lose yourself in its quaint winding streets and breathtaking coastline.

Long lazy days, leafy country lanes, history at every turn, pristine beaches and welcoming hospitality combine to make Jersey an unbeatable destination.

Named after the island's saint, St Helier is a bustling town. Many of the old French street names survive, yet it offers a thoroughly modern shopping experience.

Among its highlights are the parish church, with its mix of architectural styles, the Central Market, dating from 1882, and the island's parliament which sits in the States Chamber in Royal Square.

Catch the road train from Liberation Square to see the sights, or hop on the bus to Jersey Lavender and wander through stunning gardens.

Just four miles from St Helier you’ll find the Durrell Wildlife Zoo, where you can see the work being done to help protect some of the planet’s most endangered species.

This fantastic prize includes a sightseeing tour of Jersey’s breathtaking scenery and pretty villages with Waverley Coaches.

The lucky winners will also meet up with blue badge guide Arthur Lamy for a guided walking tour of St Aubin, a fishing village with stunning coastal views which is home to a pub where Karl Marx once stayed.

And if you tire of lazing by the sea, Jersey boasts a wealth of attractions ...

ST HELIER

In St Aubin’s Bay on the island’s south coast, this vibrant town boasts a fascinating blend of British, French and Portuguese influences. Its pedestrianised centre is home to sophisticated shops, Victorian street markets and beautiful parks.
