MAGNETOMETRY is a revolutionary forensic technique used by police attempting to trace the victims of house of horrors killers Fred and Rose West in 1994.

In recent times, magnetometry has been used by those searching for dozens of “the disappeared” victims of the IRA at Coghalstown Bog in County Meath, Northern Ireland, leading to the successful recovery of several bodies.
