The king of the cones

AN Ayrshire man has been crowned the UK’s ice cream king.

Philip Mancini was named national ice cream champion for the third time in the last nine years after his vanilla flavour impressed trade body, Ice Cream Alliance.

He says it’s a simple recipe using Scottish ingredients with Italian vanilla.

Philip’s received just desserts for all of his hard work.
