IF you think our military is under-resourced and hard done by, spare a thought for the Estonian army.

A thin line of troops who are all that stand in the way of the mighty Red Army on Europe’s Eastern border with Russia.

NATO forces on exercise have bunked up in their cosy barracks, forced the Estonians to kip in soggy sleeping bags and mouldy old tents.

What a carry on camping, indeed.
