Stiff drink required

A mad-keen whisky fan has just paid more than £65,000 for a bottle of Scotch.

The rare Macallan cost £3000 when it was initially sold with its hand-blown decanter back in 2006.

Bidding rocketed until the Taiwanese bidder finally set the new British online auction price.

Sounds like he’d need a stiff drink when the bill arrived!
