Alyson, 52 ‘stabbed in the neck’

A DOMESTIC abuse campaigner died after being stabbed in the neck at her home, it has emerged.

Alyson Watt, 52, was found dead at her house in Ralston, Paisley, along with a 16-year-old boy who was seriously injured.

Charity worker Alyson, who worked for Barnardo’s Paisley Threads service, died from “stab wounds of the neck”, with her death being registered by her sister Kirsteen Watt, according to her death certificat­e.

The document, lodged at Paisley’s registry office, states she was found at 5.12pm on June 2.

Gary Brown, 54, has since been arrested and has appeared in court in connection with Alyson’s death and the 16-year-old’s injuries.
