Bru battles begin
AFTER the 2015 election, SNP MPs were keen to crow that Irn-Bru sales at Westminster had rocketed.
They seemed to adhere to some strange logic that nationalists were more Scottish than other Scots MPs, so they would therefore knock back more of the nation’s other national drink.
But the fightback has begun. New Labour MP Danielle Rowley was spotted enjoying her first lunch in the parliament canteen with a can of the fizzy drink – and a Tunnock’s caramel wafer on the side for good measure!
