LET’S all get behind a fantastic group of Dundee United legends who are once again getting on their bikes to raise money for a fantastic cause.

Some inspirational players from the Eighties; Hamish McAlpine, Maurice Malpas, Dave Narey, John Holt, Paul Hegarty, Dave Bowman, Jim McInally, Ray McKinnon, Ray Stewart and Billy Kirkwood will be cycling 75 miles to different football stadiums to raise money for The Maggie’s Centre in Dundee.

They will be setting off from Tannadice on July 2 and heading to Arbroath FC, then on to Montrose, Brechin and Forfar football clubs and then back to Dundee United.

To be honest, I would be very happy to have every single one of these players back at Tannadice right now helping Ray McKinnon springboard us back into the Scottish Premiership.
