Art has the Secret for Windsor win

- By Reg Moore SELECTIONS

SECRET ART is back down to a mark from which he can be competitive, and the sevenyear-old can cash in in the mile handicap at Windsor.

William Knight’s gelding likes the track, having been a previous winner, and will enjoy the bit of cut in the ground that the week’s rain has left.

He races off 92 this afternoon, exactly the same mark he was successful off at the track in May, and in-form Harry Bentley takes the ride.

Nine-year-old Highland Colori will be a danger, despite the advancing years, but Andrew Balding is finding it diffcult to know what to expect from him.

Simon Walker is still a huge plus at amateur rider events, and he has a big chance in the one-and-ahalf-mile handicap with Maroc.

Trained by Nikki Evans, the four-year-old has much more scope to improve than his rivals, having been second twice over this trip.

The son of Rock Of Gibraltar is only up 1lb for losing out by a head to Boychick two weeks ago, over course-and-distance, and must go close.

Wiley Post takes a big drop in class and must enter calculations for the fivefurlong dash, having finished a close-up third in a Class 3 handicap three weeks ago.

Tony Carroll’s four-yearold son of Kyllachy was just a length-and-a-quarter behind heavily-backed Atletico, who has run with credit at Goodwood since.
