Spouting Forth

LIBERAL Democrat MSP Alex Cole-Hamilton made a lot of noise this week about the need to reopen the Forth Road Bridge amid tailbacks on the new Queensferry Crossing.

Indeed, he turned up late to a Holyrood Health Committee away day after travelling from his Edinburgh West constituency. Was it due to queues over the Forth? No way. Traffic was fine, he told fellow MSPs. He had overrun providing TV news with his complaints.
