Nothing like thesedames

IT seems that 80 is the new 60.

Over the past couple of weeks, I have interviewed both Dame Judi Dench, who is 82, and 84-year-old Dame Joan Collins.

Both are bright, beautiful and razor sharp.

Dame Judi was with rapper Lethal Bizzle this week having the time of her life as he taught her to rap.

They got together after she heard Bizzle used “dench” as a slang word to mean brilliant. The pair recorded a video for a trendy website.

Dame Joan is working on a new movie and is as stylish and elegant as she was during her days in Dynasty.

Neither of them have any thought of retirement and have no intention of giving up the job they love.

I think they reflect the way society is changing.

People are living longer and, if they are lucky enough to still have their physical and mental health, there’s no reason why they can’t soldier on looking as effortlessly elegant as ever.
