Paul’s now a Mighty Boosh fan
PAUL HOLLYWOOD has revealed Noel Fielding’s The Mighty Boosh was not on his radar because he’s “slightly too old for it”.
The Great British Bake Off judge said that after working with Fielding he went home and watched the surreal comedy show and loved it.
Hollywood, 51 – who stars in the Channel 4 baking series with Fielding, Sandi Toksvig and Prue Leith – said: “I sort of missed The Mighty Boosh. I’d heard of it, obviously.
“We met at a photo shoot and I went back and I watched a couple of The Mighty Boosh and actually I really loved it.”
The Mighty Boosh featured Fielding, Julian Barratt and a handful of other comedians. It started as a stage show in 1998.
