Dad and I had a special bond, I miss him

I LOST my dad. He wasn’t just a loving parent and best friend but also the love of my life who doted on my daughter.

He passed away after a 31-year battle with Parkinson’s and we all miss him so much.

I was his full-time carer, while Mum (they were together 50 years) did his apomorphine pump. trustworthy guides and loving protectors who accepted and loved us unconditionally.

The bond between loving parents and their children is always special.

You gave your dad the gift of unconditional love by being there to support and love him throughout his illness.

I do not need to tell him you all love him – he already knows.
