£5mfor museum

The Scottish Government has pledged to contribute £5 million to a major refurbishment of the Burrell Collection.

The museum in Glasgow’s Pollok Park is undergoing a £66m refurbishment programme to expand its displays and improve visitor facilities.

The National Lottery is giving £15m, the UK Government £5m and Glasgow City Council has pledged to cover up to 50% of the htotal cost.
