You can’t beat a good book
I have spent the last week on a book tour.
I’ve done a few book events and I really enjoy them. The first one I spoke at was the Borders Book Festival, set in a beautiful stately home in Melrose.
It had been transformed with fairy lights through the trees and marquees in the grounds and street food in the orchard. Gorgeous.
I had no idea how big the book industry was or how many great authors there are out there.
In this era of internet distractions, it’s heartening to know the book business is alive and kicking.
