Jurassic Park In Concert

CONCERT MUSIC FAIR

-

Armadillo, Glasgow, Usher Hall, Edinburgh, Fri-sat

To mark the 25th anniversary of what was an iconic cinema experience for a generation, the highest-grossing film of 1993 returns to the big screen – with a twist.

While Steven Spielberg’s film about scientists who have created a theme park featuring real-life dinosaurs is shown on screen, composer John Williams’ beloved score is performed on stage by a symphony orchestra in this sonically-immersive experience.

Us

The Glad Café, Glasgow, Fri

Us are the Scottish-swedish duo of ex-geneva singer Andrew Montgomery and Lowe frontman Leo Josefsson, whose dark electronic pop takes cues from the Cocteau Twins and Depeche Mode.

Montgomery will also appear at the Star Shaped Festival at the O2 Academy on Saturday, performing stripped back songs from the Geneva back catalogue. Supporting Us will be Glasgow band The Pelts, who’ve had airplay recently from Steve Lamacq on BBC 6Music.
