■ LOCHEE UNITED stretched their winning run to 10 games with a comfortabl­e 5-0 win over SCONE THISTLE in the North/ Tayside Cup. Scone almost took an early lead when a Calum Kinnear effort hit the post, but the Bluebells replied with the opener in 15 minutes from Grant Lawson. Connor Birse then made it two in 22 minutes. A Gary Kenneth header from a corner made it 3-0 in 75 minutes and Scott Mccomiskie and Birse added two more in the final 10 minutes.

■ EAST CRAIGIE gained sweet revenge for last season’s GA Cup final defeat with a 4-2 victory over CARNOUSTIE, who played much of the game with 10 men after Bruce Hearn was sent off in the first half. The Shipbuilde­rs were 4-0 up thanks to a double from Conan Howett and singles from Adam Brown and Aiden Benvie before Pat Martin and Ryan Dignan pulled two back for the Gowfers.

■ TAYPORT were always in command against KIRRIE THISTLE and were well worth their 3-0 win. Dayle Robertson gave them the lead in seven minutes and Jamie Gill and Robertson again added two more after the break.

■ NORTH END were 5-2 winners over COUPAR ANGUS, who have improved since they last met when the Dokens were 13-1 winners. Frankie Devine netted two for the hosts and Ryan Rigden, Paul Lunan and Gary Sutherland were other scorers.

■ GLENROTHES had to withstand a second-half fightback from LOCHORE in the Fife and Lothian Cup, but a strong finish from the Glens saw them go on to win 5-2 An own goal after seven minutes gave the Glens the lead and Lee Celentano doubled their advantage in 39 minutes. Lea Schiavone made it three, but Lochore pulled two back before Callum Kinnes and Connor Schiavone sealed it for the Glens.
