■ EAST KILBRIDE are through to the last 16 of the South Region Challenge Cup. They beat LEITH ATHLETIC 2-0. Craig Malcolm gave them a great start with a thirdminut­e goal, but it was the last minute before Malcolm sealed the win with his second goal of the afternoon. ■ BSC GLASGOW manager Stephen Swift was in seventh heaven after his side crushed South of Scotland League champions THREAVE ROVERS 7-1, with David Winters hitting a hat-trick. They were never in trouble and led 3-0 at half-time after Winters gave them a great start with a seventh-minute goal and Declan Hughes added a second on the halfhour. Spencer Brown got the third just before the turn and then Winters and Martin Grehan added two more in the 54th and 59th minutes before Sam Goldie got a consolatio­n counter for Rovers. Ross Smith and Winters got two more late on. ■ For the second week running, BONNYRIGG ROSE racked up a double-figure win following last week’s 13-1 win over Tynecastle. This time it was a 10-0 victory over EYEMOUTH UNITED in the Challenge Cup. Kyle Wilson was in lethal form, bagging himself a hat-trick, with Kieran Mcgachie and Keith Lough scoring doubles with Jonathan Brown, Dean Brett and Dean Hoskins, who also missed a penalty, completing the tally.

■ LINLITHGOW ROSE were never stretched by TRANENT and ran out easy 6-2 winners. Ruari Maclennan gave Rose the lead in eight minutes and Blair Batchelor made it two after 18 minutes. Tranent pulled one back two minutes later, but John Ovenstone added a third before the break. Ross Barbour and Roddy Maclennan added anther two in the second half and an own goal made it six before Tranent added their second. ■ SAUCHIE were comfortabl­e 3-1 winners over ORMISTON, with Darren Cummings, Steve Dolan and David Cross all on target for the hosts.

■ Paul Tansey was the DALKEITH hero with a stoppage-time winner against HADDINGTON. Blake Wales headed Dalkeith into the lead and an own goal made it two. Haddington fought back into the match with two goals of their own, but were sunk by Tansey’s late winner.

■ JEANFIELD SWIFTS were taken to extra time by BROXBURN before securing a 4-2 win. Gary Fergus gave the Perth side the lead, but Broxburn replied with a Gordon Donaldson equaliser. Chris Dodds regained the lead for the Perth outfit, but a Conor Kelly equaliser took the tie to extra time, with Swifts prevailing with goals from Aaron Whitehead and Richard Donovan.

■ EAST STIRLINGSH­IRE fought back after losing a second-minute goal to beat KELTY HEARTS 3-2 to move into the next round. Ciaran Chalmers put the Lowland League leaders into the lead, but Paul Mccafferty hit the equaliser on the hour mark and Andy Rodgers put them ahead for the first time 10 minutes later. Rodgers got the third with five minutes left and, soon after, Stuart Cargill set up a thrilling finish when he got Kelty’s second.

■ EDINBURGH UNI secured a 1-0 win over EDINBURGH UNITED thanks to an early goal from Aidan Kemp.

■ STIRLING UNI beat East side TYNECASTLE 3-1. Stirling got the opener after 32 minutes, but, 10 minutes after the interval, Tynecastle levelled through a trialist. Late in the game, Stirling took control and Lewis Hunter hit the second for them and Lewis Bonar got the third.

■ In other ties, COLDSTREAM beat BURNTISLAN­D 5-2, BROXBURN were 4-2 winners over INVERKEITH­ING HILLFIELD.

■ In a Conference B game, Paul Tansey was the DALKEITH hero with a stoppage-time winner against HADDINGTON. Blake Wales and an own goal put the hosts 2-0 up. Haddington fought back to level, but were sunk by Tansey’s late winner.
