A hall new look

The repainting of Campbeltown’s coat of arms is the icing on the cake of the Town Hall restoration.

Painter Nicola Mcfadyen is restoring the stone coat of arms above the door, including the Latin motto, Ignavis Precibus Fortuna Repugnat – Fortune Spurns The Prayers of Cowards. Trust manager Zena Coffield said the motto “sums up the determination to survive”.
