Police hunt park stalker

A would-be thief who stalked a woman in a park is being hunted by police.

The 47-year-old victim was left shaken following the incident last month in Elgin.

She had been walking in Doocot Park, near New Elgin Road, when a man approached her and demanded she hand over her belongings.

The victim picked up a minor injury as the man ran off empty-handed.

Police have appealed for any witnesses to contact them.
