■ As part of research into my family tree I am trying to trace descendants of Paisley-born Walter Weir (1849-1908) and his wife Barbara Mclean (1848-1939), from Fortrose. They lived in Stoke-onTrent, where Walter worked for Twyfords. They had four children – John (d.1962), William, Annie Higson (d.1966) and James Robert (d.1945).

■ Does anyone know where I could get a copy of the 1950s book Black Bob: The Dandy Wonder Dog?

Anton Mcallister, 8 Ormont Avenue, Thornton-cleveleys, Lancashire FY5 2BT

■ Do any readers have any unwanted Glen Campbell CDS? Looking for Meet Glen Campbell, Unconditional Love and Ghosts At The Table.
