ILAWS provides an unbelievable service

-

After losing her husband, Jane wanted to make some changes to her Power of Attorney, something she already had in place.

Unaware she could have two people named as her Power of Attorney, Jane, 82, was advised by ILAWS Scotland that she could, and so appointed her two nieces to take on her financial and medical decisions should she become too ill to do so.

Jane, who does not keep too well, wanted her Power of Attorney drawn up fast – but her previous solicitor took more than three months to arrange it. So she contacted ILAWS Scotland, and is grateful that she did, because just a month later everything was in place.

Jane, from Lanarkshire, said: “I wanted it changed quickly because I am in poor health, I am a widow and I have no family of my own. Within two days of contacting ILAWS Scotland by phone, a girl called Elaine was out at the house. I told her what I wanted, and the personal attention I got over the phone and in person was unbelievable.

“Nothing was too much trouble for them and now I have two people acting as my Power of Attorney, it is a load off my mind.

“I am totally relieved because I thought it would take 13 weeks again, but ILAWS Scotland turned it around one month after my first phone call. I would totally recommend ILAWS Scotland.”
