Scottish actor Michael Nardone (BBC 1’s The Night Manager and Rellik, HBO’S Rome) will play the title role in the National Theatre’s touring production of Macbeth, with Kirsty Besterman joining the cast as Lady Macbeth.
Directed by NT artistic director Rufus Norris, this new production has been described as epic and visually daring and propels Shakespeare’s classic title into a post-apocalyptic world of anarchy and uncertainty.
