Edinburgh Playhouse, Perth Concert Hall, tonight, Mon Fifty years on from the release of Rod’s first album, Some Guys Have All The Luck is back with a new show, celebratin­g of one of music’s great icons.

Frontman Paul Metcalfe captures all the excitement, energy and charisma of Rod and the show includes all the hits, including Maggie May, Baby Jane, Sailing and You’re In My Heart.

The Haunted Hunt: Monsters Of The Castle

Dr. Frank Mcstein has created a monster. The only problem is it has escaped and is lurking somewhere on the grounds.

Help the mad scientist find the creature, follow the clues and save the day in this interactiv­e show for kids aged eight and over.

Last year’s Haunted Hunt: The Curse Of The Grey Lady was a sell-out show and this new adventure will also prove popular in the build-up to Halloween.

Scottish Opera’s season begins with Verdi’s 1851 masterpiec­e, Rigoletto.

This tragic tale of seduction and revenge, set in a dark and dangerous underworld where cruelty is rife and women are treated as playthings, tells the story of Rigoletto’s suffocatin­g love for his daughter, Gilda.

A one-hour taster, Rigoletto Unwrapped, is on Mon and a pre-show talk on Saturday.
