A late winner by Neil Gauld in his 300th HL game gave INVERURIE LOCOS a 2-1 win over FORRES MECHANICS. Locos’ first goalscorer was Mark Souter, with Andrew Macrae levelling.

BRORA RANGERS went down 2-1 at home to FORMARTINE. Brora’s opener came from Martin Maclean, but Graeme Rodger quickly levelled. In the second half, Archie Macphee put Formartine in front, firing high past Joe Malin.

BUCKIE THISTLE won 3-2 at home against ROTHES. Buckie scored on 40 minutes when Steven Ross raced in to net. Steven Anderson pulled the Speysiders back before Ross responded with his second of the game. A wild challenge by Dale Wood saw Rothes reduced to 10 men in the 72nd minute, but they looked to have grabbed a point when Scott Davidson netted with just eight minutes remaining. In injury time, Scott Adam won the game for the Jags.

HUNTLY and FRASERBURG­H shared four goals and the points.

Gary Mcgowan and David Booth had the hosts 2-0 up, but Broch subs Scott Barbour and Gary Harris levelled.

Brian Macleod went in search of his first three points as manager of CLACHNACUD­DIN, but lost 2-1 at TURRIFF. Drew Copeland and James Chalmers netted for the hosts, with Sean Webb getting the Lilywhites’ goal. Clach youngster Keith Smith was sent off.

Although Ryan Stuart scored an early goal for LOSSIEMOUT­H, they went down 4-2 at home to KEITH. Moray Taylor also netted for Lossiemout­h, with Keith’s goals coming from Max Berton, James Brownie, Cammy Keith and Wayne Barron.

WICK hammered FORT WILLIAM 6-0 with goals from Andrew Hardwick (3, 1 pen), Davie Allan, Gary Manson (pen) and Michael Steven.

Scott Lisle hit a hat-trick as STRATHSPEY THISTLE beat hosts DEVERONVAL­E 4-0. The other goals came from Michael Dunn (og).
