The most successful instrumentalist in rock history, Duane was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1994.

The second in the Sunday Classics season sees the Vienna Tonkünstler Orchestra visit the capital.

Japanese conductor Yutaka Sado and his orchestra open with the three wide-eyed sailors on shore leave in Bernstein’s foot-tapping musical On The Town.

Canadian pianist Angela Hewitt joins them for one of the most heroic piano concertos of them all – Beethoven’s noble Emperor Concerto, which was the composer’s last for the piano.
