One of the biggest bands of the late ’90s are back to celebrate the 20th anniversar­y of the release of their fourth album, Gran Turismo.

The Swedish electronic rock group enjoyed a string of hit singles from the album, including Hanging Around, Erase/rewind and My Favourite Game, helping them to sell three million copies of the album worldwide and reach platinum status in the UK.

They’ll play the album in its entirety, as well as other songs from their career.

Childline Christmas Concert

Perth Concert Hall, Thur

The annual Perth Childline Christmas Concert is now in its 17th year and, as always, promises to get the audience into the festive spirit.

The Perth & Kinross Instrument­al Music Service will present a variety of ensembles including Perth Youth Orchestra, bands and choirs to provide an evening of Christmas music, carols and popular classics, all while raising money and awareness for a very good cause.

Organised by the NSPCC and Perth & Kinross Council Education & Children’s Services.

Outlaw King

Dunfermlin­e Abbey, Wednesday

A unique showing of the Netflix film about Robert the Bruce (played by Chris Pine), charting the years 1304-07, from defeated nobleman to victorious King of Scots at the Battle of Loudoun Hill.

There will be a tour of Dunfermlin­e Abbey, which doubles as Westminste­r in the film, and the Abbey Church, home to The Bruce’s tomb, followed by a film screening in the nearby Carnegie Library and a Q&A with director David Mackenzie and producer Gillian Berrie.
