Stranraer continued to press in the second half and Jordan Allan was not far away with a shot.

Adam Cummins missed a penalty for the hosts.

EDINBURGH CITY 5 east Kilbride 2

City won this East of Scotland City Cup Final, but had to fight back after Sean Winter finished off a three-man move for Kilby in the 15th minute.

The SPFL side hit back two minutes later when Alex Harris fired in the equaliser.

Kilby then went down to 10 men when Darren O’dea was given a straight red for a high tackle.

Despite this, the Lowland side hit back with Paul Woods restoring their lead from a free-kick.

Before half- time, City’s Scotty Shepherd levelled and Jonny Court put them ahead for the first time.

On 55 minutes, Court hit a second to make it 4- 2, then, in the 71st minute, Harris crashed the ball home to make sure of the silver.
