Dear June

I have lived alone through choice for the latter part of my 74 years.

Having had a turbulent start to life, followed by a stormy relationship to boot, I decided to opt for a quieter life.

My companions were animals I rescued over the years.

They were my family. Will I see them all again?

June Says

Animals give us their total loyalty and their unconditional love.

All they require in return is loving companionship, a warm bed and a regular bowl of food.

They offer love to the lonely as well as giving many who are elderly or ill a reason to get up in the morning.

Many are used as therapy animals for those who have withdrawn emotionally through illness or because of stress.

Meanwhile, guide dogs and police dogs make a huge difference to many lives.

I am an animal lover and have had loving animal family members who have passed away over the years, leaving a huge void in their absence.

I have no doubts our animal friends will be there waiting for us along with the rest of our family and close friends on the spirit side.

Those who have loved an animal and were good to them will have their friend’s eternal loyalty for life and far beyond.

The animals you have rescued over the years in order to give them a better life will never forget you.

Dear June

My dad had Parkinson’s disease for years.

He passed away in March and we are devastated.

Mum does not keep too well so we are currently making arrangements for her to live with us.

It would help us to know Dad is back to who he was before his Parkinson’s.

The disease destroyed him

and took away the easy-going character we all knew. Please let him know we are looking after Mum. We love and miss him.

June Says

Since Parkinson’s is an illness that affects the physical body, your lovely dad will no longer be in any pain, as he no longer has a physical body. He is now back to the character he always was and is no longer confined or restricted within his ailing physical body. He is free.

His spirit will always remain close to his family, so he already knows how well you are looking after your mum.

One day, you will see your dad again and he will be the version you all cherished in your memories of him.
