League leaders CARNOUSTIE tasted defeat for the first time this season when they were outgunned by LOCHEE UNITED, who ran out 4-2 winners.

Danny Cavanagh netted from a free-kick to give the Bluebells the lead in 29 minutes, and he struck again in 54 minutes to double their advantage.

Gordon Mcdonald pulled one back in 73 minutes, but the home joy was short-lived as Scott Mcomiskie restored the Bluebells’ two-goal advantage three minutes later.

Once again, however, the Bluebells replied quickly through Mccomiskie to seal the win.

The Dokens replied six minutes later when Gary Sutherland slotted in the equaliser, and with 10 minutes to go, Scone’s goalscorer Mckay was red carded.

The Dokens were unlucky when a Paul Lunan free-kick hit the post, but they were caught out with five minutes to go when Ross Mitchell set up Aiden Benvie for Scone’s winner.
