■ CIVIL SERVICE STROLLERS put up a great fight in the SFA South Region Challenge Cup against big-spending KELTY HEARTS, who went through 2-1 after extra time, thanks to two Nathan Austin goals, the second in extra time. Alieau Faye had fired home a penalty to level.

■ League leaders BONNYRIGG ROSE eased through with a 3-0 win over South side THREAVE ROVERS, Neil Martyniuk, Scott Gray and George Hunter netting.

■ Two goals just before the interval put current Lowland champions EAST KILBRIDE on the victory trail and a 4-0 win over East side EASTHOUSES LILY. Paul Woods, Ruari Paton (2) and Kieran McGrath got the goals.

■ CALEDONIAN BRAVES beat MUSSELBURG­H ATHLETIC 5-3, coming back from being 3-1 down in the first half. Neil McLaughlin put Braves ahead on 13 minutes, but Athletic’s Daniel McBray equalised and then they got two in two minutes through Declan O’kane and Liam Gregory. Braves missed a penalty shortly after when Athletic keeper Michael Robinson brought off a fine save, but he couldn’t stop shots from David Winters and David Sinclair in first-half stoppage time and the teams went in 3-3 at the interval. Winter hit two more in the 67th and 80th minutes for his hat-trick.

■ CUMBERNAUL­D COLTS got a narrow 1-0 win over JEANFIELD SWIFTS from the East. Craig Holmes slotted home the spot-kick winner.

■ A stoppage-time winning free-kick from Jason Jarvis gave 10-man STIRLING UNI a shock 3-2 win over SPARTANS. The Ainslie Park side’s Scott Maxwell put them ahead on six minutes, but Angus Mailer equalised. The Uni side took the lead with a Liam Mcmaster shot, but they went down to 10 men in the 57th minute when Alex Webb was red-carded. Michael Allan levelled in the 70th minute. But Jarvis hit the winner in stoppage-time.

■ BSC GLASGOW went behind when Niall Kelly put GALA FAIRYDEAN ROVERS ahead. It was level when Kieran Ainslie scored an own goal. David Mckay gave BSC the lead in the 65th minute. Late on, they were reduced to 10 men when Thomas Orr got a second yellow. Despite this, Lewis Bell got a third late on.
