Claim: Maxwell and Spacey cavorted on throne

Ghislaine Maxwell sat on the Queen’s throne during a private tour of Buckingham Palace organised by the Duke of York, it was claimed yesterday.

Next to her on the seat normally occupied by the Duke of Edinburgh was Kevin Spacey, the Hollywood actor accused but never convicted of sex offences.

A picture of the pair together was reportedly taken during a private tour of the Palace. A source said: “They were larking about on the thrones, doing regal waves. Ghislaine sat on the Queen’s throne with Spacey pretending to be the Duke of Edinburgh.

“No one can recall if Prince Andrew was actually in the throne room at the time but he was in charge of the visit.”

Lawyers for the Prince say he was “bewildered” over claims he has failed to cooperate with US investigators probing Jeffrey Epstein.
