MUSSELBURG­H came back from the dead to snatch three points from NEWTONGRAN­GE in the Premier League. Ryan Porteous headed Nitten into the lead in 62 minutes and the odds were heavily in their favour when the visitors had Callum Donaldson red-carded. But it all changed in the final five minutes when Nathan Evans levelled and Darren Downie gave the visitors all three points with an unlikely winner in the final minute.

LOTHIAN THISTLE HV suffered their second successive defeat when they were hammered 5-0 by DUNBAR UNITED. Ian Black gave Dunbar the lead on 20 minutes and, just on half-time, Darren Handling doubled their lead. Handling struck again, then goals from Mike Mcfarlane and Mike Mcgovern killed off the visitors.

KINNOULL maintained their winning form with a 4-0 away win at STIRLING UNIVERSITY in Conference B. Alan Cunningham and Benn Blyth gave them a twogoal lead and they then had a penalty saved. Ben Ragan made up for the miss when he made it 3-0 and Dale Smart made it four for the Perth side with 10 minutes to go.

In the Challenge Cup, Kayne Paterson scored four and Steven Thomson three as TRANENT ran riot with a 12-0 win over ARDEER THISTLE.

LINLITHGOW ROSE were stretched by KELLO ROVERS, but eventually prevailed with a 2-1 victory. Tommy Coyne gave Rose the lead from a penalty and, although Kello levelled, Ruari Ma Lennan snatched a winner for Rose.

HILL OF BEATH are through to the next round with an own goal after 25 minutes proving to be a winner for the Haws over GLASGOW UNIVERSITY.

THORNTON HIBS are also through, with an early goal from Garry Thomson sealing their win over RUTHERGLEN GLENCAIRN
