BONNYRIGG ROSE knocked EAST KILBRIDE off the top of the table and ended their unbeaten run with a 2-1 win, thanks to two penalties. Rose went ahead on 17 minutes when Lee Currie fired home a spot-kick. In the 56th minute, Kilby were reduced to 10 men when Kyle Hutton got a second yellow. Kilby looked to have saved their unbeaten record when Ricky Miller slotted home a corner late on, but, in the last minute, Rose got a second spot-kick and Currie converted.

BSC GLASGOW chalked up a 6-0 win over EDINBURGH UNI and go top on goal difference. Jamie Glasgow was the star with a first-half hat-trick. Declan Hughes got the opener on 10 minutes and Glasgow doubled the score soon after. On the half-hour, he made it 3-0 and then completed his hattrick four minutes later. Andy Geggan hit the fifth on the hour and Andy Monk got on the scoring list late on.

KILBY HEARTS moved up to second with a 2-1 win over GALA FAIRYDEAN ROVERS. Dougie Hill put the Maroon machine ahead on 13 minutes, but Scott Taylor Mackenzie levelled the scores in the 34th minute. Soon after, Dylan Easton restored Kilby’s lead which they held till the end.

GRETNA 2008 got their third win of the season with a narrow 1-0 victory over BERWICK RANGERS, who slumped to their third defeat in a row. Daniel Smales got the vital goal for the hosts on 50 minutes, but they should have increased their lead, but Lewis Mcgratton missed a penalty.

EAST STIRLINGSH­IRE won 3-0 over STIRLING UNI, with Andy Rodgers grabbing a quick brace. His first came on 61 minutes after he was pulled down in the box and then stepped up to score. He hit his second six minutes later and, in the 76th minute, Nicky Low lobbed in No. 3.

CIVIL SERVICE STROLLERS had a 3-0 victory VALE OF LEITHEN. Strollers took the lead after half-an-hour when Connor Young fired home and Connor Young chipped the ball over the keeper on 39 minutes for a 2-0 half-time lead. Alieau Faye hit the third into the top corner on 59 minutes.

SPARTANS recorded a 3-1 win over DALBEATTIE STAR, but they had to fightback after Steven Degnan shot Star ahead on 17 minutes. But Archie Meekison levelled on 31 minutes and, just on halftime, Scott Mccrory-irving shot Spartans ahead. Spartans skipper Adam Corbett hit a third for them with two minutes left.

CALEDONIAN BRAVES got a narrow 1-0 win over CUMBERNAUL­D COLTS thanks to a 66th-minute goal from Andy Dowie.
