QUEEN’S PARK 3 STENHOUSEMUIR 1 Queen’s Park conceded their first League goal of the season, but came from behind to win.

They went behind on 11 minutes when a long kick-out from Paddy Martin was flicked on by Tommy Muir and Botti Biabi cracked a shot past Wullie Muir.

The Spiders drew level on 38 minutes as David Galt’s cross was perfect for Lee Kilday to nod in.

Just before the hour, Jai Quitongo fired wide for the hosts.

Queen’s new recruit Simon Murray came off the bench with 15 minutes left to make his debut and he looked set to touch the ball home with his first touch, but he failed to hit the target.

Mchugh put QP in front when he ran on to a pass and slotted past Martin.

The margin of victory was increased in injury time when Murray finished off a counter-attack with a fine finish.

Early on, Maxwell Wright had a chance for Annan, but his header was saved by keeper Calum Antell, then Cameron Clark fired inches past from a free-kick.

The visitors went ahead on 32 minutes through Liam Henderso’s 18-yarder.

Soon after, Josh Campbell accepted a pass from Blair Henderson and blasted home from 12 yards.

Annan tried to fight back and Owen Moxon’s 50th-minute shot went past.

It was all over on 56 minutes when Blair Henderson headed in a ball from Marc Laird.

In 62 minutes, Blair Henderson got his second when he accepted a through ball from Josh Campbell and shot home.

Aidan Sopel’s back-post looping header edged Elgin in front on 26 minutes and Hester punished a poor clearance with a volleyed second just 12 minutes later.

Elgin keeper Tom Mchale fumbled in a Kyle Miller free-kick to give the Fifers hope until Hester went clean through to score at the second attempt for 3-1.

He then completed his treble with a close-range finish, and sub Conor O’keefe swept home a fifth before Cian Kavanagh’s time-added consolation.

Cowdenbeath also lost midfielder Ross Clarke with a suspected broken leg.

BRECHIN 1 STRANRAER 4

Stranraer made all the early running and they grabbed the lead after just nine minutes when Scott Robertson crossed for Ruari Paton to blast a left-foot drive past Lewis Mcminn in the City goal.

Brechin fought their way back and equalised seven minutes before the break when Luc Bollan rose to head home a Connor Barron corner.

In the second half, the visitors regained the advantage for the second time on 55 minutes when Thomas Orr headed home an Adam Cummins corner.

It was 3-1 for the visitors just three minutes later when Darryl Duffy blasted an Orr cross past keeper Mcminn.

Stranraer kept pushing forward and a close-range finish from substitute James Hilton with six minutes remaining wrapped an emphatic and deserved victory.

ALBION ROV 0 STIRLING ALB 1

Cammy Binnie had to be at his best early on to tip a Lewis Wilson shot over the top as the home side threatened.

But Stirling responded swiftly and Andy Ryan netted on nine minutes when he beat Ryan Goodfellow with a low, leftfoot shot.

Matthew Aitken came close with a free-kick for Rovers midway through the first half.

Stirling started the second half on top and Kurtis Roberts and Ryan both went close.

A Jack Leitch free-kick slipped narrowly wide for Stirling, before Keiran Moore also went close after a mix-up in the home defence.
