EAST OF SCOTLAND

A dramatic finish at PENICUIK saw the 10-man hosts score twice in the last five minutes to snatch an unlikely win. They played most of the game a man short as Paul Tansey was red carded after only seven minutes. They looked like heading for only their second league defeat when Michael Watt gave Hill of Beath the lead in 40 minutes, but Ryan Baptie threw them a lifeline with an equaliser in 85 minutes, then Kieran Watson stabbed in a winner two minutes later.

CROSSGATES just got the better of DUNBAR, winning by the odd goal in five. Dunbar took the lead through Jamie Devlin in eight minutes, but Archie Campbell levelled on the half-time whistle. A Sean Robertson own goal in 53 minutes restored Dunbar’s lead, but Scott Lawrie equalised, then scored the winner from a penalty in 83 minutes.

Mark Stowe was the man of the match for LINLITHGOW ROSE as he scored all three in Rose’s 3-0 win against LOTHIAN THISTLE.

TYNECASTLE took the lead against BLACKBURN UNITED and, despite a Callum Heath equaliser, the home side went on to score the winner with three minutes to go.

Darren Downie was the hammer of INVERKEITHING with his hat-trick paving the way for MUSSELBURGH’S 4-0 win. Jordan Smith was the other scorer for the visitors.

Sam Davidson gave SAUCHIE a half-time lead against WHITEHILL WELFARE, and they added

another two in the second half to complete a 3-0 victory.

CAMELON suffered a heavy home defeat against JEANFIELD SWIFTS, with the Perth side cruising to a 5-2 win.

HADDINGTON remain joint leaders of Conferenece A after a comfortable 4-1 win at ROSYTH. Gabri Auriemma gave them the lead in six minutes, but the home side hit back through Callum Strang. The Hi Hi then raced clear with a further three goals from Seamus Russell, Shaun Hill and Auriemma with his second of the match.
