FORMARTINE UNITED blitzed visitors TURRIFF UNITED 5-0 with goals from Scott Lisle, Ryan Spink, Johnny Smith and Aberdeen loanees Kevin Hanratty and Tyler Mykyta.

Hosts STRATHSPEY THISTLE beat NAIRN COUNTY 2-1. Strathspey’s Craig Mackenzie gave them an 18th-minute lead, but the predatory instincts of Connor Gethins saw Nairn square things up in the 66th minute when he nodded home from close range after a Scott Davidson free-kick was tipped onto the crossbar. Then, two minutes into timeadded, Dylan Mackenzie grabbed a sensationa­l winner to sink Charlie Brown’s men.

FORT WILLIAM went down 2-0 to LOSSIEMOUT­H at Grant Park. Lossiemout­h moved to within one win of the top half of the table with goals from Ryan Sewell and Brodie Allan.

KEITH lost heavily 7-0 at tabletoppe­rs FRASERBURG­H, whose goals came from Barbour (2), Paul Young (2), Sean Butcher (2) and Bryan Hay.

WICK ACADEMY lost 3-1 at home to BRECHIN CITY. The half-time introducti­on of Marc Scott proved to be an inspiratio­nal switch for Brechin as,100 seconds after entering the fray, he ran through the channel to slot home the opener. Hamish Thomson and Scott again netted Brechin’s others, with the hosts scoring through David Allan.

Ryan Broadhurst and Keiran Shanks were on target for INVERURIE LOCOS in a 2-2 draw against FORRES MECHANICS. A Paul Brindle double, though, brought the Can Cans level.

CLACHNACUD­DIN lost 4-0 at home to BRORA RANGERS, whose goals came from Adam Mackinnon, Gregor Macdonald, Andy Macrae and Ally Macdonald.

BUCKIE striker Marcus Goodall hit a goal in the 2-0 win over his former side HUNTLY. Andy Macaskill netted the other.

ROTHES recovered from their heavy midweek defeat to grind out three points in a 3-0 win over DEVERONSID­E at Mackessack Park. Fraser Robertson and a Jack Brown double secured the points.
