WAS sold on joining United by Craig Levein, who told him he’d get to play the Old Course every day. Needless to say, that didn’t happen, but a brilliant keeper. I’M lucky I have to be in this team, otherwise I don’t think I’d be anywhere near it. STREAKY is a guy you didn’t want to get on the wrong side of, but if you ever ended up there, he never held any grudges. He was so unfortunate with injuries. Without them, he would have gone further. HE had high standards and wanted everyone else to meet them. He’ll always be remembered at United as the Cup-winning captain from 2010. ROBBO was only at Tannadice for a year – but what a year it was. Nobody could have forseen how good he was going to be and for him to continue improving is incredible. I’D have Barry as my captain all day long. He was so demanding of the ball. His attitude was absolutely spot-on and he deservedly won his move. UNITED fans remember him for one mistake in a cup final but that’s not fair. Deserves better for what he brought to the club as a player and a person. WILLO is a guy you’d want in the trenches with you. He’s brave, but not just in terms of flying into challenges. He always wants the ball too, no matter how much pressure he’s under. A FRIGHTENING winger. His end product was what set him apart. Like all United fans, I’ll never forget his 2010 Cup Final goals. DINTY was a dream partner for any striker. Just look at the guys that got moves off the back of playing with him – Johnny Russell, David Goodwillie, Noel Hunt. ONE of the best headers of a ball I’ve ever played with, despite his lack of height. He was a big help to me when I first signed at United and he’s still a mate.
