Rewind brings back the good times in style

Retro revellers had plenty to cheer about in the sunshine of Scone Palace at Rewind. said they were “over 21”, loved watching Tony.

Amanda said: “He’s a sex bomb – it’s the whole ’80s thing!”

Debbie added: “He’s got it. I think I’ve got a bit of Olivia Newton John going on too. It’s all our era and music here and it’s really friendly.”

Alex Matthew, 45, who was dressed as the marshmallo­w man from Ghostbuste­rs, and his pals David Bain, aka Hot Rod, and Rhea Hussey, a My Little Pony, lapped up Leo Sayer.

Alex said: “This is my third year and I love the atmosphere.”

David, 40, from Auchtermuc­hty, added: “This is my second year and the beer tent is great along with the music and atmosphere.

“We are really looking forward to Adam Ant.”

Rhea, 35 added: “It’s always awesome. I go to other festivals but this is so relaxed and laid back.”

Sheana Given also raved about the festival despite slipping up as she bopped around as Hi De Hi’s Gladys Pugh.

She said: “I have a weekend pass for this and I just love the music, the drink and the dancing.”

There were even a few special guests in the audience including Taggart’s Colin McCredie and Trainspott­ing star Robert Carlyle.

The festival continues today with Adam Ant, ABC, Big Country, Midge Ure, Toyah and more.
