Bolt’s mum wants him to settle down and have kids
HE may be the world’s fastest man but for all his achievements Usain Bolt has still one more thing to do for his mother – start a family.
Jennifer Bolt, 54, was very clear when she spoke to reporters at the Olympics in Rio that she’s told her 30-year-old son it’s time to settle down.
Following Bolt’s announcement that he was retiring following the games, Jennifer told reporters she was ready for the pitter-patter of grandchildren’s feet.
She said: “The challenge now is to find him a lovely wife. The medals can take care of themselves.
“I want him to settle down, because I don’t want him to be alone. I’m not rushing him, but he knows I’m ready.”
Her comments also came after she told a TV crew: “I would hope he’ll settle down, get married and start his family.”
Bolt is rumoured to be in a relationship with 26-year-old Brazilian Kasi Bennett but has refused to confirm this.
But just what Kasi makes of his mum’s comments is anyone’s guess.
