Where are EU all?

THE cynics derided it as a PR stunt but EU nationals living in Scotland were at Edinburgh’s Corn Exchange last week to quiz the Scottish Government cabinet members on the implications of Brexit.

Answers to some of the big questions were thin on the ground, and so were punters, with only 250-300 attending, when 450 had been invited.

But they weren’t the only ones not attracting crowds. Holyrood’s Festival of Politics was punting half-price tickets for its showcase debate on the future of Scottish sport, despite a stellar cast which included Scotland boss Gordon Strachan and curling ace Eve Muirhead.
