Grieving mother’s tribute

-

PAIGE’S heartbroken mum has revealed plans for a fitting headstone for her beloved daughter.

Pamela Munro has revealed the family have set aside £8000 for Paige’s monument.

She said her daughter’s headstone was set to be “absolutely stunning” but added that “it is not made yet as we are still finishing the wording”.

The grieving mum posted on Facebook that she would have sold her house to get what Paige deserved if needs be.

But she hasn’t had to, as the tight-knit community has rallied around to help.

Paige was buried at Dalnottar Cemetery, Clydebank, in April following a moving ceremony at nearby St Margaret’s Church where everyone was encouraged to wear bright colours.

“Our daughter had a smile across her face every day and that’s exactly how she should be remembered,” Pamela told mourners on the day of the funeral.

“There is no room for evil any more.”

Meanwhile, Angel’s dad John is also working with the community to build a fitting tribute to Paige.

They are building a pink playpark in her memory, an idea that came from local children.

“We wanted something that everyone could benefit from and which would be fitting to Paige.

“The plans are for it to be built in pink. We want something lovely.”
