The Scotland internationalist is set to start against the English Premier League leaders with Rodgers’s first- choice keeper Dorus de Vries having gone on the watch list after suffering a chest injury during against Kilmarnock. “I would be 100% comfortable with Craig. He’s more than capable,” said the Celtic manager, who dropped the player after the Hoops won their playoff against Happoel Beer Sheva.
“He’s a brilliant shot stopper, he’s improving his game with his feet all the time. It’s a part of how I work, players have to work that way, there’s no compromise.”
