John keen on Lisa’s soap role
NEW EastEnders star Lisa Faulkner has said her MasterChef judge partner helped her settle into life in Albert Square.
The 45-year-old actress is back on our screens as businesswoman Fi Browning after a five-year acting hiatus.
Speaking in an interview yesterday she said partner Australian celebrity chef John Torode has revealed himself to be a superfan of the long-running soap.
Lisa, who has also starred in Holby City, said: “John is so excited.
“They gave me cards of the characters so I could go home and look at them.
“We put them out in the kitchen and every one I put down he knew!
“I didn’t realise he was quite such a fan!”
