The Invincible TREBLE Rodgers’ Bhoys make history with late win over Dons
The Invincibles take the applause of the Celtic support on full-time at Hampden yesterday.
And yesterday Brendan Rodgers’ allconquering side wrote themselves into the history books as The Invincibles.
A dramatic 2-1 win over brave Aberdeen in the William Hill Scottish Cup Final clinched the Treble and made Rodgers (above) only the third Hoops manager to dominate a Scottish season after Jock Stein and Martin O’Neill.
The only sour note was an injury to Kieran Tierney which makes him a doubt for the World Cup qualifier against England.
