The Kennedys: Decline And Fall

Decades before Donald Trump blurred the lines between politics and pop culture, the Kennedys were America’s obsession, and there have been many movies and TV shows made about their lives.

Back in 2011, mini-series The Kennedys was slammed even before it aired. Nevertheless, it was a ratings success and Barry Pepper won an Emmy for his performance as Robert.

Tonight, the sequel picks up in the wake of Bobby’s 1968 assassination.

Jackie (Katie Holmes) is again in mourning, and sniping breaks out between her and the newly widowed Ethel (Kristin Booth).

The drama also follows Robert’s young brother Ted (Matthew Perry) and his struggles to live up to his brothers’ legacies.
