Pedro happy to take a fall

-

PEDRO CAIXINHA last night insisted he has not been thrown off course by overseeing the worst result in Rangers’ history.

The Light Blues boss has been silent since the night of the embarrassing Europa League exit at the hands of Luxembourg minnows, Progres Niederkorn.

But after the 1-1 draw in yesterday’s friendly with Marseille at Ibrox, the Portuguese insisted he was unbowed.

He said: “If I fell from the world’s highest building in Dubai, the day after it, I’d be the strongest guy in the world. I’m like that.

“Of course, we’re not pleased with what happened in Luxembourg, but it’s in the past.

“We need to focus on what’s in front of us and the boys have been brilliant in trying to do that.

“And I’m not only talking about their quality of football. I’m talking about the quality of their character.”
