CALLUM HENDRY hasn’t had his troubles to seek.

St Johnstone’s 19-year-old striker, the son of Scotland legend Colin, tragically lost his mother, Denise, to meningitis eight years ago.

He then suffered two cruciate ligament injuries before his 18th birthday.

But Hendry has inherited the Braveheart spirit from his dad and is determined to make a name for himself at McDiarmid Park.

Having been released by Blackburn Rovers after 11 years in their system, he is allowing himself to dream, with emulating his father – capped 51 times for his country – topping the wish list.
