The hosts claimed four tries before the break from Richie Ferguson, Frazer Thomson, Murdo McAndrew and Grant Shiels – but the Greens had the better of the second half.

The marksmansh­ip of Jonny Hope proved vital as County gathered another full-points win at Bridgehaug­h.

They edged the try-count 6-5, but Hope’s series of conversion­s made the difference.

Kerr Gossman had two touchdowns for County, who also earned a penalty try.
